Hanapepe is a nice little town with still a Hawaian character. On Friday Nights they have many people, both tourists and Hawaians, coming to see the shops and galleries. But also during normal days you could go and see the town and the swinging bridge

This sleepy little town develops a really unique vibe on Friday nights for the Friday Night Art Walk. Once the sun sets and the lights are on, it’s a great way to spend Friday night. There are several places to eat. Our favorite is the...More

What a great way to spend out evening. Talking and sharing stories with the locals, eating our way through the festival and taking memorable pictures of the stunning sunset on the swinging bridge! Don't miss this charming town!

We were here in October and on top of the Friday Night Festival, they were also having the annual Chocolate and Coffee Festival. There were many vendors and they also had entertainment this week. Parking was a challenge, but fun had by all.

Chipwrecked! Excellent nachos. Got a small Hurricane with jalapenos. The chips stayed crispy until I finished. More than enough. Loved it!

This market is a quaint place to browse for an hour or so. Some nice pieces in the galleries and plenty of local-made food.

There is not a lot of night life other than restaurants on Kauai. We enjoyed walking around the venue and visiting the different booths and vendors. The art displays were awesome. Some awesome food snacks too.

They let you walk around with Kava - a Hawaiian drink with mellowing effects. If you weren’t being otherwise inappropriate I doubt anyone would say anything about a drink.

I agree that arriving early makes finding parking a bit easier, but I went around 6:30pm and still was able to find a spot without too much trouble. So if you can get there earlier, great, but if you’re doing something fun... More

Assume you are talking about the Holo Holo Charter rather than the Hanapepe Art Show...the trip to Niihau and Lehua Rock (where the snorkeling actually is) takes about an hour from Port Allen. The boat is a catamaran, so... More
