Stumbled upon this fabulous beach within fairly easy hiking distance of popular Waikoloa Resorts. We found this beach great for snorkeling and on windier days decent body/boogie board surfing.

This beach offers an easy in an out of the water, swimming or simply easy snorkeling around a magnificent large reef. Fish are in abundance here. Great place to sunbath, for kids, or anyone really.

This is a great little beach tucked away in a neighborhood. The snorkeling by the rocks is also awesome. Lots of fish. The black sand does get pretty hot.

Very interesting , not to bathe but for viewing. Great scenery ! Amazing to see turtles relaxing on the shore . Took pics and walked the beach. Some folks were bathing but it looked a bit rocky with the lava.

What more can be said besides amazing?! This is also a place where sea turtles come to sun bathe and lay their eggs. They have it blocked off with rocks, so as to not super interfere with them, but to keep people from bothering them....More

Behind a private community sits this secluded black sand beach. Small but very well maintained, it does not get too crowded and is absolutely beautiful.
