This is my second time doing the manta ray nigh snorkel and in many ways this was just as enjoyable as the first time. But there were also a couple of things that would have made this experience even better. First the good. Since we...More

Pros: Great customer service, crazy friendly, Denise's cookies between dives, great little non-"cattle car" boat and reasonable AM start time. Also, they focus on the Kohala away from the crowded Kona waters. Cons: Two major things that really bugged me. 1) 90% of the time...More

My Sister did her open water qualification with blue wilderness she was nervous about some of the drills etc - they went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and get her through the course. Absolutely made her holiday!

The manta rays were spectacular. They were up close and personal. Excellent dive location. I won’t go to anyone else, now. (Been to others before) Professional and low key. Masterful dive guide, Joe. Captain G was great.

Visited the store at Queens’s Market as a walk-in looking for some snorkelling equipment. The young lady on the cash register did not get off her chair the whole time I was in the shop. She was very dis-interested and was less than helpful. I...More

Yes they are a bit more than the competition but so worth it. If you are staying in Waikoloa area it’s a short 7 minute trip to the launch. It’s a small zodiac boat. It’s a short sunset ride and a lot of time in...More

We rented tanks from Blue Wilderness for about a week, and that was awesome! Tanks were always full, and double checked before I picked them up. It's a great deal, really works for us. Keep in mind though, that you have to reserve tanks before...More

Captain Kevin and dive master Greg both really know their reef fauna. Besides the usual suspects—such as numerous turtles—we saw cleaner shrimp, lantern tobies, flame angels, sleeping reef sharks, sandperch, and more. Pipefish and anthias were no-shows on this trip, but at least the guys...More

Our instructor Dave was really knowledgeable about the cliffs and coral structure of the coast, we saw plenty of amazing sea life and nice undersea lava architecture! The raft to the diving spots was really fun too! Definitely recommended!

My family and I have taken several trips with Blue Wilderness and each time we were made to feel like family. Diving, dolphins, mantas, they provide it all. Mahalos to the crew!!

The snorkelers wear wet suits. They hold onto a float. There is no waiting around for the divers, the snorkeling and diving take place at the same time in the same spot.

They give you a wetsuit on the tour - mine was only short sleeves and legs but definitely ask if a full one is available. I did not feel like I missed out at all with the snorkel experience! Enjoy
