We did a night time snorkel to see the manta rays. I thought we were nuts as we headed out to sea in a little dinghy as the sun was setting. We were in wetsuits. There were about 9 guests, some with dive gear and...More

We went out with Blue Wilderness for the nighttime Manta snorkel and it was probably the greatest evening of our trip to the Big Island. The Blue Wilderness staff were wonderful. I'm not an experienced snorkeler and deep water makes me a bit nervous and...More

We had a fantastic experience diving with Blue Wilderness. They are so very personal and take it to the next level when it comes to diver satisfaction. We saw terrific creatures -- sea turtles, reef sharks, octopus, lobster, lion fish, frog fish, etc. I can't...More

Dropped in after dinner one night to inquire about the prices for renting diving and snorkeling equipment. Significantly cheaper than the resort we were staying at! Ended up renting snorkeling gear for $10/day or $25/week. Everything was clean and almost brand new. They handed me...More

I’ve been diving with blue wilderness for a couple of years now. Yesterday I had the best dive ever! It was very windy, and terrible conditions in the water. I was the only diver scheduled. Normally companies cancel unless there are enough divers to go...More

Blue Wilderness has pay as you go, daily dives. Also the Manta night dive is not to be missed. 3ml full wetsuit advised, and a good light.

They give you a wetsuit on the tour - mine was only short sleeves and legs but definitely ask if a full one is available. I did not feel like I missed out at all with the snorkel experience! Enjoy
