We had a great day on Kaelakekua Bay with our guide Ali'i. He was fun and informative! We saw a pod of dolphins while kayaking to our snorkel destination. And the snorkeling was awesome! Totally recommend Kona Boys and Ali'i.

All of the staff were great at Kona Boys, but of course, the key to making it a perfect day was our great guide Joe. He was professional, but very laid back as well. He took time explaining everything we needed to know, as well...More

The tour was fun, informative, and incredible! Makai and Serena were wonderful tour guides and even saved us as we capsized our kayak! The snorkeling was quite relaxing. The kayaking trip over was challenging enough, but not overwhelming and on the way back we were...More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island and well worth the early morning drive from our resort on the Kohala Coast! We were extremely fortunate to have a private family tour with Joe and loved every minute of our...More

We had never been to Hawaii and didn't know what to expect. We both kayak and could have just rented but did the tour and snorkel and it was so worth it! The cheese level wasn't too high and the guides were super chill. Learning...More

My family (kids ages 8 and 14) had a great time. My 8 year old didn't help paddle much, but the ride wasn't too strenuous for my husband to handle the boat alone. You do have to make an effort to paddle, we didn't just...More

We did the morning kayak trip to Captain Cook monument with Justin and Dylan. It was a lovely paddle over pastel blue water and the dolphins were near once we approached the cove. The snorkeling is fantastic. They brought a great lunch and cold drinks...More

Mahalo for reaching out. We can't recommend the tour for someone with cardiovascular concerns. I can tell you that the paddle is about 2 miles round trip and we go at a relatively easy pace. The drive from Kawaihae to our... More

Aloha and mahalo for your question. A Kona Boys steersman is included with all wa'a (canoe) rides. They will help with fundamentals and share all kinds of interesting info while you paddle. Aloha Kona Boys.
