Beautiful trellis coffee plantation. Worth an hour to stop and get a cup of coffee and shop for some souvenirs. Karolina in the gift shop was very helpful. Highly recommend a visit. Beautiful spot.

My wife and I stopped, on impulse, at Kona Joe Coffee on our way to the Volcano National Park. This establishment, not far from Kailua Kona was a great stop. From the parking lot you could see coffee beans still on the tree. Once you continued through the property you are offered a stunning view of the ocean below. There... More

Fun coffee tour. Judy did a great job showing us around. I didn't expect to see as much of the process of making coffee as we did. Some good tips on how to store coffee and brew coffee.

Kona Coffee is famous and only grown on the Big Island of Hawaii. Trying to choose which coffee farm to visit was not easy, we feel very lucky to have picked Kona Joe Coffee. Kona Joe has developed a unique way to grow coffee, using knowledge he learned from wine growers he trains the coffee trees to grow on trellises... More

If you like coffee, then this is for you. I am not a coffee drinker myself but I still really enjoyed the tour learning how coffee is grown and prepared for consumers. Each island of Hawaii thinks their coffee is the best and they like to try to convince you that theirs is the best. But this tour was informative,... More

The gift shop was great! Lovely view to the "vineyard-inspired" trellis coffee orchard. Amazing view to the sea! Free samples of coffee and delicious chocolate covered peaberry coffee beans!

Beautiful setting to enjoy generous samples of excellent coffee! The story behind this coffee farm is interesting as well as the trellis method developed by the owner. There is a fee-tour available (which we did not take). Great place to stop, relax, enjoy the views and savor the flavor of Kona Joe's coffees!
