Yum yum yum. The quick self guided tour smells sooooo good. Watching the small number of people running the factory was interesting. Awesome gift shop. With awesome gifts and samples. Really clean and fresh feeling. Was a nice stop a bit from Hilo.

Mauna Loa left us underwhelmed and coming from Queensland Australia, the real home of macadamia nuts, and actually having two trees ourselves, it was nothing new. But I did expect the self-guided tour to be much more informative.

Aloha , Mauna Loa is a nice stop for everyone. You can see how the macadamia nuts are processed. It also has a very nice ice cream parlor in the gift shop.
