My husband and I had the opportunity to visit Anna's Ranch Heritage Center, it was a beautiful place with lots of very interesting history of the first ranchers in Hawaii. What an incredible person Anna was! Unfortunately, we went to this location when they were NOT giving tours we would have loved to take the the tour instead we walked the grounds and read about the history ourselves.

Great historical ranch - get a feel for local ranch life 100 years ago - Anna was local personality and an innovative rancher in her days.

We visit this decent place and participated the historical home site tour with warm welcome from a young lady, we enjoy this educational eye opening tour guilded by her,a lot of great communications, quite friendly staff, she even checked reference to answer our questions. We were surprised by the layout of the house and furnitures, we bought anna' biography to kona more about this legendary cowgirl.

A glimpse into the past of ranching, cattle, and Paniolos. A beautiful garden and a historic house preserved as they were generations ago.

You can tour the grounds anytime they are open, but you really need to reserve a spot on one of the tours to have a proper visit. Your ten bucks for the tour goes directly into the trust maintaining the ranch and house.

My husband and I visited the ranch today. Although we were unknowingly late for the morning tour, we were given a private tour. The docent Barbara was amazing! We were so caught up in the story of Anna's life, that we were asking questions the whole time. Barbara knew so many details, embellished by her years of knowing the events and people still living, who knew Anna. We will definitely recommend this activity to friends.

Along with being a historical site, the ranch is well manicured and a joy to walk thru. It truly feels like walking in Old Hawaii. Breezy with views of the Kohala Mountains makes this place worth the stop. It was rewarding to learn about Anna and the ranch history.

we were lucky enough to have the oldest tour guide who pationately described Anna's history and how she protected this place from a by disaster. this was known Lindsey ranch until she took over. how she did all that although she had two brothers and her elder brother was supposed to take over. that is what u will discover when u visit. the house is time capsule. we had very limited time so had to rush..... sigh..... but alhamdulila all praise be to allaah

My wife and I recently stopped by the Anna Ranch Heritage Center. Unfortunately, the hour was late and we didn't have a lot of time to tour the facility. What we did see was very interesting, and gave additional history to that of the Parker Ranch in the Kamuela/Waimea area. They also have a very nice little gift shop in the main building. And the gardens surrounding the main house were very nice. For someone who is interested in the history of the area, this is a must see stop.

Right off the highway. We lucked -- we happened to be there between group tours, but the guide was nice enough to give us an individual tour.
