The tour guides were informative and we learned about the local culture, history and species in the valley. A favorite was seeing the wild horses up close. Great tour.

This is good if you want to get down into the valley without a treacherous walk or drive. It is beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and particularly the plants. However, you aren't in the wagon for very long. That was the shortest...More

There are not too many ways to see Waipio Valley and the ride down was very steep (25% grade)! I would not consider hiking in, esp with kids. The owner, Bob, was a nice, local resident of the area and is very knowledgeable about the...More

Took the valley tour. Fun 25%grade to get to the valley floor, then the wagon and mules trip. Driver Bob knew the history and flora, the ride was fun, and we got to see a rare side of Hawaii.
