A picturesque, little gem tucked away from the bustle of Hilo. Very well-maintained and peaceful. Good for taking a break, just a look or for quiet meditation.

This was an absolutely beautiful place ! I would put it in my top 5 of things to do in Hilo ! Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of parking and great views of Hilo Bay.

I recommend this place up have picnics and to entertain kids since it is spacious and have nice scenery! My nine year old had fun catching little white shrimp. Unfortunately it started to rain and there is not much places to hide and stay dry.

What a beautiful park. And the history of this area is so tragic. But people have the ability to bounce back. A must see when in Hilo

The gardens are so well kept, not a weed in sight. Someone takes great pride in the upkeep. The statues and foliage are breath taking, I took so many pictures, and I live in Waimea!!! LOL

Located along historic Banyan Avenue in Hilo, Liliuokalani Gardens was a gift to the city of Hilo from its ‘sister city’ in Japan. The park occupies about one city block which can be enjoyed pretty leisurely in about thirty minutes, so it’s a great place...More
