Really nice park along the Wailoa River. Some very neat bridges. Nice place for a short walk, very close to downtown Hilo.

This small park has its main attraction the statue of a Hawaiian king. The access to the park is very easy as well as park and make a picture of the statue. For me it was a very short visit of 5-10 minutes.

This river is amazing especially when they have had rain. We were fortunate to go after they had rain. It had so much water and was really running.

Even if you just come to see the statue, it's worth it. King Kamehameha stands overlooking Hilo Bay. Be careful which side of the park you come in on. It is a much longer walk over bridges to see the statue if you come from...More
