Fun place to visit. Was looking forward to the coconuts but they ran out. Lots of other food and craft choices for souvenirs. Worth the trip from Kona.

It was pleasant to visit the local farmers, artists and merchants while I discovered their gifts. The community is historic and artsy. The market is open 7 days a week

Fresh veggies, honey, spreads, etc on one side of street. Crafts, clothing on the other. We visited on a Saturday, and a community band was giving a concert across the street on the harbor park. Many vendors.

The Hilo Farmers Market is covered with tarps and the indoor food court is inside a building. Thank you for your question and hope to see you there soon.
