Come & see lava up close & personal with experienced hawaii volcanologist! Aloha! Mahalo for choosing ‘ahiu hawaii for your real lava adventure!! We have two different tour times. One at 9:00am and the other at 4:00pm. The price is $137 per person, which we provide a backpack, snacks, water, headlamps, backup headlamps, gloves and also a stick to walk with but also to interact with the lava! We hope you care about your safety. Cause your safety is our #1 priority! Our tour groups are small which we never book no more than 10people per tour guide for safety and personalism. Plus all of our guides know what's going on about the lava and will safely get you there! The hike distance to the lava changes from day to day.

If you want a great lava experience inside Volcanos National Park, Ahui is place to visit. Our guide Matt was friendly and knowledgeable. We got to bike right into the national park and then a short hike later we were 15 feet from flowing lava.

We decided to walk down to this bike rental location instead of another one because of the other reviews. It was so awesome to meet people that were from our same area in Florida. They were very kind and informative and the bikes were awesome!...More

We rented bikes to ride four miles to see the lava on the south side of the Big Island. We discovered that it's actually cheaper to rent in person than to make a reservation which was sort of disappointing. They did offer water and a...More

An amazing hike over lava fields up to actively flowing lava! Strenuous hike but worth it for the experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun to travel with. I highly recommend!

Ahiu team, You'll cancelled my lava hike tour scheduled for April 15th @ 2:00 pm thru an email sent the evening before and still haven't refunded my payment. I have called multiple times and left voice messages. Can you please provide the contact info of the responsible person who will process my refund. I had received email from E'A Tribe and there has been no response from that email either.
