Let me start by saying our guide was great and we did have fun. But, you're not seeing anything on the bike tour that you couldn't see if you drive around to the different parts of the park. So, you're basically paying $150 per person (after tax) for the guide and to ride a bike downhill. On the advice of... More

We did this tour while docked at Hilo on our Norwegian cruise. Mike (our tour guide) and Pretty (our driver) promptly met us at the port. The day was full of bike riding adventures, information and picturesque scenery. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation and the memories will last a lifetime! The tour guides definitely made the trip... More

My wife and I, both in late 50's, did the all-day bike tour of Volcano National Park. Most of the riders were shuttled up from Hilo to the park. We were staying over by Kona so drove ourselves to the park and met the van at the visitor's center. Our two guides and van driver were terrific! Biking around the... More

Had a great time on this adventure. The staff is great and knowledgable about the park. They do a great job providing details of the area and you don't have to be a bike stud to do this. The bikes I was a little underwhelmed with, some TLC is needed on them, I do recommend spending time becoming familiar with... More

We did the full-day group tour recently with Pretty as our driver and Mike as our bike guide. It rained the whole time, but we were given rain jackets and hopped on our bikes. We had a good group and didn't mind the rain. The guides were informative and fun and clearly enjoyed what they were doing. We covered a... More

We're cyclists, so naturally thought this would be a fun way to see Volcano National Park. We discovered that you don't need to be a cyclist for this to be the highlight of your Big Island vacation. As long as you remember how to ride a bike reasonably well, there isn't a better way to enjoy the wonders the park... More

We (two adults and two elementary school age kids) took this tour recently. We found it excellent and well worth it. Sights: The sights are awesome and it definitely helps to have a bike for getting around fast while still being immersed in this environment. Guides: We had Pretty and Marcus. They did a great job telling us the background... More

They picked my wife and I at around 9:30 at the visitors center. We biked through trails and public roads (mostly), stopping at a couple of sights along the way. The bikes are typical mountain bikes (Giant), comfortably set up. The van follows you in case you get tired, but really it is a very pleasant ride (minimum exertion). We... More

We appreciate your feedback and we are pleased that you enjoyed your tour with us. I would like to clairify a couple things concerning the Full Day Bike Adventure: 1) the total biking mileage is is 15 miles; 2) Lunch is served at the coast (time and weather permitting). At the Ranger Station at the end of the Chain of... More

My husband, two sons (ages 17 and 12), and myself did the mountain bike volcano tour with this company and enjoyed it immensely. Started out at the Volcano National Park Visitors Center where we met up with Pretty who took care of the paperwork and then drove us to the Jagger Museum to meet Mike, our biking tour guide. He...
