Great views of the falls from the walking track. Well maintained. Beautiful flora and fauna. A must see!

I wouldn’t consider this a hike to the falls, but you have about a less than 10 min walk to the actual falls. You’re surrounded by beautiful plantations and sound of nature. Once you see the falls, you’ll notice that it’s tiny/skin yet very high....More

Yes it's a beautiful, tall waterfall. If you've never seen one it may be worth the trip. We drove an hour from Pahoa and paid $5 to park; park outside the gates and it's $1 each. The trail itself is paved and well kept so...More

Falls are as beautiful as people say and mustn't miss. Hilo area is wonderful and seems to be underestimated by many

Small, out of the way park, with thousands of flowers. It felt like you were in the jungle. Lots to see and photograph. The falls were not exactly a torrent of water, but pretty. If you haven't been, you should drop in.

A short, somewhat steep hike to the 400+ foot falls, Very beautiful. We spend maybe 30 minutes here and it was very worthwhile. More than that and it would have been too much.

Half of the walking loop was closed because of tree removal due to damage, but it didn't really matter. Took stairs to sidewalk...passed several smaller falls, lots of plants...heard lots of frogs (almost like locust noises!). Falls were not far away....good signage for education. If...More

You can go the way in normal clothes. Be careful when the floor is wet; then it can be slippery.
