All waterfalls are pretty but there was not anything too special about this one. An easy stop and a cool little forest at the top lookout. High traffic tourist bus destination!

Worth stopping by to see when making a tour of waterfalls. A short hike up to the top provides another perspective of the falls.

Rainbow Water Falls was gorgeous, but what we most enjoyed about the tour was Auntie Karen who was an original tour guide, showed our group the true Hilo hospitality. She showed us the Volcano, Rainbow Falls, Richardson Beach, black sand beach, macadamia nut plantation among...More

Very easy to get to and accessible for those who are not able to walk far, just off the parking lot. Saw it after heavy rains and it was spectacular.

Lovely waterfall; I can stand there forever watching the water coming down into the gorge. Rainbows not visible when it's cloudy out, though.

Enjoyed the view and it was an easy walk. Not as much work as the other falls in the area but worth stopping.

This is an easy Falls to see. Right off the road and very pretty. Access to some good photos too. You can climb up a short steep walk/stairs if you want for a view from the top but it isn't necessary to get a good...More

It had rained every day so the water was a bit brown...but that's nature! Very easy to get to by car and a quick walk to see the waterfall...quite nice!
