Not the highest or most majestic waterfall you will ever see, but a lovely waterfall a short, easy drive from central Hilo. Plenty of parking and an easy walk to the viewing area. Worth the visit.

This rainbow overlook is very beautiful but you do not get very close compared to other waterfalls I've been to. The overlook is nice but relatively small. There is a section that you can walk (steep rock stairs) that you can take that takes you...More

The waterfall is close to town so its just a short drive. The surroundings are well preserved and undisturbed. It is a beautiful place to capture the a waterfall without lots of hiking and walking. Would recommend this for family with small kids.

These falls are a nice stop, good photo opportunity and if you have time you can walk across the rocks ate the top for even better views and photo ops.

Nice small waterfall near downtown Hilo. No rainbows were visible, no difficulties to find the place, park the car and go to the viewing area. Spent maybe 5 minutes there.

Easy to get to, the walk up is very short. You can take some nice pictures here, very beautiful! You can also sunbathe or swim at the falls.

Didn't see a rainbow, but the falls and surrounding area of the park provided fun exploration. Walk through the magical huge trees, like a fairy forest, to reach the upper pools. Once there, you can climb on the rocks and look straight down on the...More

It's a pretty waterfall that you can see a few feet from the parking lot. Great for people that want to see the beauty of a waterfall but cannot hike. The teenagers were underwhelmed. Some people made it a bit more adventurous by climbing on...More

Hi, no, you cannot get into the waterfall, close but that's it. Lots of spots to take picture though.
