Rainbow falls easy to drive to just up from downtown Hilo follow the signs, beautiful falls with rainbow in the spray. Good viewing and overlook, easy access. Lots of tourists there.

This is convenient - right in Hilo - and very accessible, but if you want a dramatic waterfall, take the short trip to Akaka Falls, a ways out of Hilo.
