After reading about Medicine Wheel in the guidebook, we knew we had to stop here in order to experience everything that it entails. We felt humbled at Devil's Tower and knew we had to feel that again. Unfortunately, we were not very prepared for the...More

This is living history. The views are spectacular and the visiting the grounds are a solemn experienced not to be missed. The entire canyon area is a "hidden treasure" overshadowed by Yellowstone.

Don't let the length of the hike nor the steepness of the access road prevent you from making this trek. Even with snow drifted over the trail, the hike was quite doable. Wear hiking boots, take water, and take your time. The scenery along the...More

A 1.5 mile hike to see the Medicine Wheel, beautiful views along the hike, might want to make sure you have a jacket even in the summer time.

If you know what this place is and how sacred it is go. It takes some understanding of what it is or you won't care. The history behind this is fascinating. Once you get to the top it's breath taking. And to witness the rituals...More

As a breed and my innate psyche being Native American, I resent it when I see people smirking, criticizing and making fun of what I consider my culture. People like this should stay away; it is sacred ground and it should be respected in all...More
