We stopped in to see the art museum (which is very small) and the heritage center. If you do, be sure to see if the Tappan Rare books library is open to visitors (sometimes it is closed if a class is using it). This is a great place to visit, interesting artifacts from Wyoming's western past. There is an excellent archives as well.

I visited this place, really for fun, and was treated very well. I researched the Black 14 incident of 1969. Of course, that is only one small part of the archives' vast resources. Visited here recently, as in the past I have not had time, and it is open M-F daytime only as far as I can tell. Interesting exhibits and photos for thoughtful visitors. Lots to read and think about.
