The park is very nice. You can take a nice hike, see elk and bison. But for me, the best part about this state park is the Visitor Information Center. It's actually not IN the park, but next to it. As you exit the park,...More

Plenty of walking paths (both hard and off beat trails). Excellent for walking, running and pet friendly. Very well kept with seasonal viewings of both Bison and Elk.

We always come here when we're in Wyoming. Really nice place. It's a really pretty trail and you usually end up seeing deer or moose depending on the time of year.

Great hiking trails, friendly people, bison and elk viewing areas--just a great hidden gem of a park just off the interstate. Perfect place for a stop over or a quick camping getaway. Grocery store is nearby, also.

Stop over in Evanston on April 15/17 and had time to visit the Park. Bear River wonders through the Park and some lovely walks along the banks. Bison and elk in the Park enclosures and make for good viewing. Worth a visit.

This is by far my favorite place in Evanston. It's open 365 days a year during daylight hours, regardless of the weather. They have bison and elk right alongside the road so you can get some good pictures and see the animals. They also have...More
