Great exhibits, lots of information about the area and the people who have inhabited the area. Pictures, stuffed animals videos, some old time farm equipment and a replica of the early town.

I really wanted to visit this Museum. I probably would have given it 5 Stars if I had been able to get in the buildings. We stayed on the opposite side of town, and the day we left we actually came back into town because things on the internet said it was open at 9 a.m. when we got there... More

Great museum for a small town. My boys enjoyed the hands on displays and all the artifacts on display. It is small but a very nice surprise.

The inside of the museum if full of very interesting artifacts, but my favorite part was the historical cabins that were brought in from around the area. They highlighted local historical figures and gave a great overview of the tie hack industry. Really worth seeing!

It is easy to find as the location is on the main highway that runs through town. If you are at all interested in history, or just want to stretch your... More

The most memorable thing for me, from this museum, are the ram's skulls that have been found in trees (from the sheep-eater Indians) and preserved in the museum. Three years ago they had one such specimen, now they have two. Something very interesting that I have never seen elsewhere. Our kids also love the musuem - they really liked the... More
