Great place to catch rainbow trout. Gorgeous up near the dam by boat. It looks pretty desolate from the road but is quite nice from a boat and just loaded with rainbow trout.

This is an amazing structure, a true lesson that our forefathers knew what they were doing. The dam is amazing, and the crystal clear water in the resevior is beautiful. It was very windy the day we were there, so many white caps.

The buffalo bill dam was very interesting but the reservoir was just another lake and once you see yellowstone lake nothing else can compare.

All we did was drive by this reservoir. We drove by on our way back into Yellowstone, so there is not much to review. Looked like there was only beach access on the north side.

One of the largest reservoirs I've seen and very lovely scenery all around. There are two campgrounds just beyond the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, the furthest has hot showers For just a couple of quarters, it was heaven!

Beautiful man made lake behind the Buffalo Bill Dam is worth checking out, even if only for 5 minutes. The lake against the mountains is really beautiful.

My husband and I recently visited here while in Cody. The reservoir is lovely and they give tours of the dam. It was quite interesting and free!
