Interesting stop walking through and seeing relics from early west settlers. Great to hear the stories of western legends like Jim White Buffalo Hunter, Blind Bill, W. H. Gallagher, and several more. Many relics of a time gone by in each of the buildings.

My husband is a huge western/history buff, so I surprised him with a side trip to Cody to visit the Old Town Trail. I honestly can say that I enjoyed it as much as he did!

Featuring old cabins and the authentic graves of well known cowboys, this 'Old Trail Town' gives you an idea on how these men lived in those days, when they did not vanish into the wild for a certain time.

Some may scoff at this place but I found it of interest. Essentially it is a collection of original wooden buildings which would have formed the substance of towns in the west in the 19th century but drawn from different locations to form a new...More

It was closed when I was there. Only the bar was open and we were able to go inside. When it is open, I believe you can go inside the buildings.

No, there is a fee, but you pay inside the old western store (first building). There is no official wrist band or entrance. I think it was $8 each, but I'm not positive.
