Wandered the base as we were in town visiting friends; much has changes since we were here in the late 70s, but much has stayed the same...old brick quarters, antelope roaming around, etc.

The base has many historic building built in 1867 and the newer buildings built in the early 1900's. It's a large and quiet expanse of land, The RV "Family Camp" (for active duty and retired military) is great. Very peaceful with the exception of a nearby train track and occasional helicopter flying near by, As a retired Marine helicopter guy... More

It was a great place to visit. There is so much history and heart on this base and in this community. The animals abound, and we loved it here!

We visited the base for several days at the end of August. The base is an interesting collection of historic brick buildings and new construction. There are antelope grazing all over the base as well as Canadian Geese.

Excellent event put on by F E Warren troops, families and community. Real horse rides, very nice and informative personnel. Go there during Cheyenne Frontier Days, ;ast 2 weeks in July, and see and support our troops.

We appreciated the camping. Could not beat the price $20 All hookups, water, power and sewer. A little close together. New very clean showers and restrooms. 2 Stalls each. Basic camping no pool etc. Enjoyed the antelope who owned roamed the park they had no fear.

This is a wonderful place to see. Historical brick building dating to the late 1800's. Warren was a horse calvary post in the 1800's, followed by an Army post and POW camp during WWII and is currently a Missle Base. Beautiful lawns, spacious, lots of things to take in. There is a museum to take in and a golf course... More

This is an excellent base for those that have access to see history well preserved. It appears that the buildings are still used for the benefit of our country. The Pronghorns move about the base freely as do many birds. One must be observant to see all the beauty here. Make every effort to see this wonder when it is... More

The base is usually not open to the public except for a few days during Cheyenne Frontier Days. It is not only a home to the US strategic missile chain of command, but also to a safe heard of pronghorn antelope and some geese. If you do get a chance to visit, take a look at the historical buildings, It... More

Worthwhile to take advantage of the tours offered by Warren Air Force Base personnel especially during Cheyenne Frontier Days.
