Good stop for something to do if you have time to review the history of Fort Casper. The grounds look pretty old and I am sure a small fee is required to walk it.

This was a great way to spend some time learning about the history of Wyoming, and we enjoyed the gallery and touring the reconstructed sites.

If you're looking for a destination to occupy an hour or two, this place can be it. It's nothing special, as the indoor exhibits are dated and locally focused. The outdoor exhibit is the best, a recreation of the fort.

This museum had a number of furnished fort buildings of the 1840's in addition to a full museum. Each building was totally furnish with the military outpost of the era. A great place that tells the story of this little western town and the solider...More

We really enjoyed walking the grounds of the Fort and imagining our lives in the 19th century. Nice informative museum about local history. We all had fun!

Our gal at the hotel recommended this stop and we enjoyed it. It's definitely worth it to check out to get a little bit of history.
