Thanks for visiting. The kitchen has had many uses by Garden groups as well as outside organizations. Small meetings as well. Glad you enjoyed the Gardens.

Beautiful garden to visit. Easter egg hunt is a very busy happy time. The best part is everyone has a chance to find eggs and all kids get the same prize. It is a not early birds get the best or more.

The egg hunt is on despite the loss of some of our tall pines from Sunday's storm.

A nice place to connect with nature, the Monk garden is a relativity new garden so it does not compete with the more established gardens but it still is the best one in Wausau.

This is a lovely plot of land donated by Robert J Monk. They are working very hard to make it a destination. Which I am convinced they are accomplishing. There are walking paths and a tower to climb up over looking the grounds and pond....More

Beautiful and serene, nice place to go for a walk, to relax or enjoy nature. The new outdoor shelter is awesome. The only minus, some of the traces get muddy after a good rain.

But we need the rain! Thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed the visit. Yes, the new Kitchen Garden pavilion will prove very useful going forward.

We enjoyed a leisurely walk through the park soaking in nature, the trees, pond, flowers and gadens. It is still a work in progress and will be gorgeous when finished.

Take your dogs or just walk to enjoy the beauty of the place. Clean, safe and well used. A great place to clear your head. People we met were all friendly

I promised my 9 and 7 year old grandkids an adventure today. Visiting a "garden" did not sound like an adventure, but they loved very trail, plant and tree. The tree house is very special. Thanks for this very special space

Thanks. So happy your grandkids enjoyed it, especially the Treehouse. The Gardens continue to develop and your response to our efforts means a lot.

Any good gardener will tell you it takes patience to make a beautiful garden. Monk Gardens has made so much progress so far that it's exciting to see what's new every time I visit. The newest addition is the kitchen garden. The building is complete...More
