Had a wonderful weekend ski getaway. All the runs and lifts were open- which was nice. Lifts weren't too crowded and the hills were well groomed. The check in line experience could be shortened. We stood in line for over and hour to get hill...More

I visited in the winter to do some hiking, there are several trails to choose from in the park, and great views of the area from the tower on top of the mountain. The day-use fee is reasonable, and worth it.

Great place to view the city in summer and fall and ski in Winter. Pricing is not cheap to ski but where is it? Not much offered but a fun outing at the least.

If you enjoy hikes, bikes, snow shoeing or skiing; you have found the right place. Excellent views of the Wisconsin River valley. It has handicap accessibility and the fall foliage can be seen by chairlift on certain days.

It was a blustery, mid-October day and rain was just moving out when we visited, but leaf color was at peak which made it very worth while. There are trails for all ranges of energy levels and those we saw were paved. Very unique rock...More

Rib Mountain State Park is literally minutes from Wausau, Schofield, Rothschild, and Weston, and maybe 15 minutes from Mosinee and the Central Wisconsin Airport. It is the perfect spot for relaxing and kicking off anxiety and worry. One can find a private spot to meditate,...More

The trails have wonderful views. Be careful of the rocks. If not stable on your feet, may not be ideal. Walking on the road is fine too. Wish I could be there to ski! It is expensive to visit and $11 pp to ride the...More

We stopped at Rib Mountain ski area, on Fall weekends you can pay to ride to the top of the mountain, hike around and ride back down. We may have been a little too early for Fall colors, but the views and vistas were breathtaking....More

This is a State Park with minimal facilities. They do have a small snack shop that is open during busy times but I doubt that it is open now. There are many restaurants nearby the park. This is a great spot to visit to see... More
