We spent a couple of hrs here exploring. Lemurs and chameleons were the highlight. Walk was easy and shady. Not too difficult at all. Main lemur we saw were the sifakas. Lots of bugs here, take bug spray! An enjoyable visit- worth having a guide.

Zombitse–Vohibasia National Park is wonderful. It surprised me right away with a couple of giant couas walking under the trees. My guide and his assistant, a lovely young girl, were very friendly, knowledgeable and helping, and made my short visit to Zombitse extremely enjoyable. Unfortunately,...More

We loved our 2 hours in Zombitse-Vohibasia National Park, and wish that we could have stayed longer. This is a small park with easy to manage trails (one member of our party was on crutches but he was able to participate in our hike). This...More

The Park is farly flat so walking easier that usual. The Sifaka cooperated and phtography was fun. We also saw the nocturnal Hubbard's sportive lemors as well as birds and Boabab trees

A wonderful national park situated between Tulear and Isalo. The local guides are fantastic in locating endemic birds and lemurs. The only place to find the Apperts tetraka

We made a stop at this dry forest reserve and were pleasantly surprised by our high level of satisfaction with this park. This was often not the case with some of the other parks we visited during our 25 day trip to Madagascar. The walk...More

In between Isalo N.P. and Tulear there is a rather unknown National Park where the biotope from the Deep South meets the vegetation of the highlands. There are many endemic and even local endemic birds to watch and the guides are friendly and patient. It’s...More

We stopped here en route from Isalo to Tulear. As we are not avid birders and had already been to several other national parks to see lemurs, so this was not a highlight of our trip but was an enjoyable short (1 hour) stop. We...More

We did a day trip here leaving Isalo Ranch early in the morning - it is a great little Park and definitely worth a visit, if only to see what so much of Madagascar must have been like before the people and their zebu... Wonderful...More

This is a small national park and well worth a visit on your way to/from Tulear. The toilets however, are very basic.
