This museum offers a great look at the history of life on the peninsula. Amazing that such a gem does not have an admission fee--only donations. Definitely worth the stop.

There is something for all. My kids love the fire truck and phone booth. The museum is very well kept and is run by volunteers which is wonderful.

The museum had lots of really neat antiques but most impressive was the Mural/Diorama at the entrance which displays of seasons and the wildlife. The taxidermy was fantastic! The artifacts in the museum brought back lots of good memories visiting my grandparents. The museum is free but donations are welcome.

A must stop in my opinion. Lots of displays of local life from years ago. The person at the desk had lots of local information about the wildlife displays. Lots to see so you may want to split it up over two days. Be sure to watch some of the movies in the area to the left of the reception... More

This small but informative museum was neat. Gives you a brief history of the area, from 1800's to current times. Good for all ages

Lots if interesting stuff to look at. It shows the different species of wild life in the area. Shows you what life was like growing up in the area as well.
