Really COOL to visit in the Winter!

Quick hike on our way out of town - really cool to see the water & ice on the shore line - worth the effort & time to walk the path & see the ice forming on the rocks! BE CAREFUL!

This county park within Whitefish Dunes State Park has some of the most stunning views we've seen on our trip to Wisconsin. The lake was really kicking up that day, making the water boom as it entered several of the caves and splash up beautifully. Trails are nice. While we didn't see it happen, there were several young adults who... More

A gorgeous natural site, as well as the perfect place to gaze into the beauty of Lake Michigan from. (Though mind where you step! I'd hate to hear about anyone falling off the edge!)

This seems to be a popular place with thrill seekers. There is a large cliff off of which people jump and go deep in to the water. It looked like we could see someone break their neck. The view was gorgeous and the picnic areas, nice.

Just went to Cave Point for the first time late December after a snowstorm and freezing temperatures which enabled me to take some most wonderful photos. Can't wait to see this amazing scenery during all the different seasons.

Have stopped here a number of times to show friends this fun park. Great for a walk up the shore & a little exercise. Watch out for the little ones around the cliffs! Views of Lake Michigan are super.

We stopped after a significant snowfall and it was absolutely beautiful! We walked through the woods, stopped to view the caves, and had a great time. Very romantic and memorable.

Keep in mind this is a county park so the beauty of nature is the primary draw. No a lot of amenities or improvements but the views of the lake and coast are second to none. Awesome photo ops and plenty of coastline to explore.

We always visit Cave Point County Park when we go to Door County but today, January 2nd, may have been the most beautiful I've ever seen it. Snow and ice covered, sun shining, don't miss this place when you visit Door County!
