On the way to a weekend in Duluth we stopped at Amnicon Falls State park although we had been there before at different parts of the year we had never seen the falls in the winter. What a joy there was only 4 other people...More

The park is easily hiked. The waterfalls are amazing and the trails seem well maintained. I think they need to improve the signage in the park. It is sometimes hard to follow trails on solid rock, so it was easy to get off the paths....More

Located just 1 mile east of the US53 and US2 intersection just southeast of Superior, this is a peaceful state park with picnic areas and day hiking opportunities. The falls have trails and a bridge for multiple vistas. Fee area.

wasn't sure what to expect since this was a quick stopping point during a road trip. Was pleasantly surprised and stayed here quite longer than planned. Nice place to visit.

Returned to a childhood haunt. I have been here many many times as a child and returned to bring my children here. There are no railings or anything to keep you from falling off a cliff or into a waterfall, so don't bring children here...More

So, reading reviews before booking the camp site. I knew this place would be one of those "you get what you pay for" kind of deals. YES it is affordable, and not too far from Duluth. I did in fact look at the camp grounds,...More

The trail running alongside the falls on each side is beautiful for walking and very easy to navigate. Photography opportunities are excellent, and the scenery is beautiful. There are also plenty of picnic tables available, and we took advantage of one of them for a...More

All depends on the amount of rain recently. When we went there was NO WAY ANYONE could go in the water.
