This museum has such charm! It's a small town museum with some really awesome artifacts that you get a chance to look at much more closely than if it were in a larger museum. Open at this time Memorial Day through Labor Day but be sure to check as they keep improving and may expand hours. Be sure to check out their website as well. You may be surprise what you discover. We really enjoyed this museum and tour of the mine. The museum is very interesting and some of the things you will see are gems, old tools/equipment, old hard hats, an old refrigerator, an old washing machine, old books, old articles, an old dentist chair and old bowling ball. Be sure to visit the Badger Mine and Museum when you are in Shullsburg. The Museum has recently been renovated and is very interesting to browse through.
