We really enjoyed this free activity! It’s across from the YMCA, so the parking is busy. It’s still worth the stop to go see what remains of this sunken ship. Unfortunately, all of the information boards are worn out so you can’t read the details.

I have never seen a display like this and I really enjoyed it! I'm a history buff in general and seeing this actual shipwreck, reclaimed and reconstructed was fascinating to me. It was the next best thing to scuba diving and viewing the wreck. I loved seeing and understanding the size of the ship and seeing the construction. The signs explaining the information about the ship were helpful but one problem was that some of them need repair, being worn and impossible to read. I hope the city of Sheboygan is able to maintain this display and its signs for people in the future. It's unique and quite informative!

First viewed the remains about 25 years ago and even today is is still holding up to the elements as a great place to view history. Not sure what they are are are NOT using to preserve the wood, but I suggest another coat of ? would help. I preserve shipwreck wood with a simple bath of used motor oil and that has worked great as an inexpensive alternative to other preservatives on the market on shipwreck wood that is not kept inside..

Definitely want to stop and check out the shipwreck when in downtown Sheboygan. You only need to give it 10-15 minutes with small kids, and some of the information plates are hard to read. But the chance to see the craftsmanship these old sailing vessels had, and the unique story of how it sank is worth the stop. Plus, it is very easy to find parking in the lot next to it.

Don’t go too far out of the way, but it’s an interesting peek into history. Surrounding area is very nice and a beach is in walking distance. This is a lovely town with great restaurants.

This is a cool place to stop off on a road trip or if you're in the area. We were at Deland Park and since it's located right there, we had to walk through. It's surreal to be able to walk through a piece of history right on land, the only problem was that the signs were so worn we could barely read a thing and didn't learn much about what actually happened to the ship.

This shipwreck is on display on Sheboygan’s waterfront. It’s easily accessible and there is plenty of free parking nearby.

It would be nice if they had more historical information on display, that you could read. Some of the displays were either weather worn or vandalized to the point of eligibility.

My husband, daughter and I headed out of town for a little day trip. I had seen the Lottie Cooper here and we wanted to check it out. It is easy to access, even for individuals who have trouble walking. Walking through it is like walking through history! There is information plaques throughout and they are a fun read. This is a cool spot to bring kids to introduce them to a touchable piece of Wisconsin history.

My husband and I stopped there to check it out. It was really interesting. It's the only ship wreck to be salvaged from Lake Michigan. It's worth stopping and looking around for 15-20 minutes

It is just an old shipwreck on display. It is ok to look at if you are in the area, but it doesn’t warrant a special trip to just see it
