We began our ride in Reedsburg and rode the 4 Trails to Marshland. The rail trail was very well maintained and took us through beautiful rural Wisconsin. The towns along the way were good for food and rest. I would recommend this to anyone who...More

Trail goes from Reedsburg to La Valle to Wonewoc to Union Center to Elroy, for a total of 22 straight flat miles. Trail restrooms in each town open at 8 a.m. Wonewoc, roughly halfway, has a nice bike shop, plus a sandwich deli/coffee & ice...More

Great ride from Reedsburg to LaValle. Easy and well-kept! Would have wished the town had some businesses to help bikers though. We had a tire blowout and it ended our ride early.

Rode this trail several times over the years and it is one of the nicest in Wisconsin. Clean and friendly trailhead stops in both Reedsburg and Elroy. Trail is well kept and easy for a beginner or advanced rider. You can take in all sorts...More

While the trail was well kept and an easy ride, I was hoping for a little more in the way of scenery. It's just a straight ride from Elroy to Reedsburg. The Baraboo River was stagnant and a bit murky. I would recommend the Elroy-Sparta...More

The 400 trail goes through several nice small towns. Many bridges to cross. Bluffs, farms and winding river views. Took the Hillsboro trail which was also flat but trail is more sandy.

We walk here several times a week. There are plenty of places from which to access the trail, from Reedsburg, to LaValle, to Woneoc, to Union Center, as well as access points in between. Great nature, often including ponds and the Baraboo River.

We did this trail Elroy-Sparta, and am glad we did - the last 3 miles were pretty much coasting downhill into Sparta, except for the last incline to a bridge over I-94. Along the way we came upon 3 different locations where Amish were selling...More
