Standing marvelously in the downtown area of Racine, this beautiful building is quite a visual treat! There are numerous rooms here with any number of stunning features from the past.
Lots of events are held here by locals for fundraising activities and wedding receptions etc. Very nice "Period" decor and substantial parking in the lot attached to this corner property!
A wonderful jewel of a structure, delighted to see it maintained and being utilized by the community here! Thanks.

Visited here a couple of times to learn more about the historic places in Racine, I was impressed by both the facility and the staff here. Ms. Spencer gave us a great tour of the building, imparting quite a few tidbits of local history that you might not find elsewhere. The building is in very good shape, we saw how the large dining room was setup for a mock wedding. The large "lodge" room was setup for a wedding ceremony, which was impressive given the amount of guests that it could support. The mansion was very engaging, each room had its own little story that tied into the story of the building in a very interesting way. The history of the place is amazing! We would definitely come back here for future events and definitely consider this when we decide to hold our wedding.

Lovely mansion that was a great setting for a fun party. Staff was wonderful even though there were 30+ people walking around poking things looking for clues everywhere (it was a murder mystery party)

If you want a wedding Nazi to take over your event and make you feel completely miserable and disrespected, this is the venue for you! Besides being terribly rude to your guests, she will make sure you feel helpless as her volunteer staff disrespects you at every turn. If your trays on the buffet line are empty, DON'T bother her volunteer staff in the kitchen, they will physically push you out and slam the door in your face. She will then take their side and make you feel the fool for expecting the "help" she promised at booking to lift a finger at your request. Her volatile demeanor and aggressive command of the event were offensive. I now understand why she has so many platters, champagne glasses, vases and other accessories available for your use. When the event is over, she claims nothing was left behind, and keeps it all. The experience is soooooo unpleasant, no one dares to return for their belongings. This includes shoes and cameras. Brides beware of this venue for your dream wedding. It could turn out to be a nightmare.

The carpet has been removed and he beautiful parkay hardwood floors have been sanded and refinished. A new social room has been established for uses like wine tasting parties. The mansion is approximately 75% restored using period furniture pieces and Knick knacks. The halls have been redecorated and are used in rental activities. There ae four large halls plus the mansion. An elevator has been installed to ensure handicap accessibly.

We rented this venue for a party and it was great. It comes with the use of a large kitchen and the upstairs a great layout for your guests to wander and chat from room to room

The tour of this building is amazing. I had no idea of the remarkable collection of antique and historic objects it contains. This is an unexpectedly interesting peek at a part of the story of Racine that I had not been aware of. The only drawback is that some areas are not handicapped accessible due to the age of the building. Read up a bit on the Masons before you visit so you can really appreciate the things you will see.
