It was easy to get there, and when we did, found parking and walked. We took lots of photos and enjoyed beautiful Lake Michigan.

Very beautiful and spacious beach. The beachside bar had very resonant priced beer and soda. Clean and as an added bonus life guards on duty and live music. What more could u ask for.

During my last visit I walked through dirty diapers, needles and a ton of broken glass. In other words, this place is perfect for Racine.

North beach is a beautiful spot with clean sand beach and family friendly enjoyment, During the season lifeguards are on duty and it is a safe environment. Music on weekends, a wonderful spot! Snack bar, changing rooms, really nice!

If you're looking for a calm, meditative escape this is a lovely, lakefront location. It features walking trails, lakefront views, a boat ramp, a beach house and somewhere of the shore a shipwreck.

You'd think you took a wrong turn and ended up in Florida; palm trees, finely groomed sand, music, hammocks, concession stand, volleyball courts, large playground. Try it to believe it.

Great place to bring the children/grandchildren. Limited parking but usually you'll find a spot without a problem.

Fabulous location in the summer for swimming (the water is cold though) and sun bathing. It's a best kept secret here on Lake Michigan. Life guards in the summer. Well groomed sand. BBQ grills available. Great playground for the kids.

Beach was clean and inviting, park area for the kids is fun and enjoyable for them. Beach is best during the week when it is quieter but weekends are ok.

Yes, there are several grills available and most are shaded. Get there early to reserve one especially on weekends.

No shells but......there are many small rocks and smooth colored glass that wash up on the shore and that the kids can look for. Plus, a large children's playground - The Pirates Cove.

Can I bring my dog to this beach

I think officially you are not supposed to bring dogs, however I have seen many people bring dogs. I have not seen anyone get in trouble for it as long as your dog is well behaved and you clean up after it. You probably... More
