So, it's Racine. It's a town that prides itself as the home of the garbage disposal and malted milk. It's where Frank Lloyd Wright got down to business at the S.C. Johnson headquarters (which is another cool place to tour, but different). It's Midwestern industry and invention, built on harbors and tinkerers who were at home with steel and electric... More

If you get a chance you need to visit. It's a beautiful park, places to sit and look out over lake Michigan. They were closed the day we went, but you can take a tour of the light house. We went in February and it was still really beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Great people! Super nice couple that runs the lighthouse and the grounds were kept immaculate! Beautifully maintained with educational tours.

This is a lovely spot to watch the waves and wind surfers, enjoy the sunshine. Highly accessible for people with disabilities, as well.

Great place to visit if you enjoy the history of the great lakes and its light houses. Not to many left.

Breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Flower gardens. Attached to the grounds of golf course. Very quaint place. Not generally open to go up in.

Stiil operating (automatically), along with its foghorn, warning mariners off the dangerous sandbars here in Lake Michigan since the 1880s. Nice stop for a picnic. This is a windy place at which one often needs a jacket.

I loved this location! There are also small historical buildings on site. Beach view. Free Parking. Beautiful place to take pictures. and seating available. Collected a few rocks and sea shells for souvenirs. I will return to visit again.

This is a very stately light on a well-maintained location. The problem is the lake water level is so high that there is no beach to shoot from. if you are going to shoot it, get there an hour before sunrise or in the evening during the blue hour. Looks better when the surroundings are in shadow.

Serene, peaceful, beautiful. A lovely place to watch the sun rise over the lake and reflect. The gardens surrounding the grounds at the base are splendid in spring and summer.
