I always start in Hortonville and my friend and I take our dogs. It's a well groomed, wide trail with great scenery. I'd like to take my bike on the trail sometime.....if I can just get past those enticing eyes of my dogs who love the outdoors!

I regularly use the Wiowash trail and enjoy exploring different parts of it. The trail is ideal for birdwatching and snapping photos of nature, if you're looking for a leisurely way to exercise. Or you can run and bike in the fresh air. The Tribal Heritage Crossing, which takes you across the Lake Butte des Morts bridge, is a newer... More

This trail is one of many we have biked with our tandem and was such a beautiful trail. Very quiet and beautiful scenery along the way. We biked from Oshkosh all the way to Hortonville and back. We passed by several people walking, running, and biking the trail. Great trail if you want to get outdoors and put some miles... More

Easy trail with nice romantic stops by the lake. There are many different trail options for those who like to walk far trails and also for those who don't.

Although I've bicycled and walked all parts of the entire trail over the years, I thoroughly enjoy and recommend starting off at the safe, concrete trail parking lot off highway Y near the Town of Vinland, then head South. Follow the signs and you can go all the way To the UW-O campus near Becket's. An excellent trek by some... More

This packed gravel rail to trail can be used by horses, walkers and cyclists. It is quite flat and goes through farmland, prairie and small wooded areas. There are no toilet facilities except the Bare Bones Brewery at the corner of County Highway Y and County Highway S near south end of the trail. Bike repair stations , courtesy of... More

I have walked, biked, snowmobiled, cross country skied (not recommended) and took the kids fishing along parts of this trail. You can go from Oshkosh to New London. It's a good way to see wildlife, and wildflowers at your leisure. Mostly flat land so not so strenuous on the joints

I will keep this brief. The trail is enormous. The sheer size alone makes it hard to rate less than three stars. If you are out for exercise, it is a decent place to visit. You will see a large amount of passers-by during peak hours though (careful for those bikes!) I'm most familiar with the trail head in Oshkosh;... More
