My family and I have stopped in here a few times for tastings. The place is laid back and casual and reasonably priced. It’s a comfortable stop for friends and family. Wisconsin wines are different than California wines so if you are going in here...More

Primrose is now Hawks Mill winery. Same place just now known as Hawks Mill tasting room in New Glarus. This is a must stop. Great wine, a little on the sweet side, but very good. Excellent staff! They are real pros here and know their...More

Not sure why this is rated so high. The place was dead and the person working seemed completely uninterested. No comparison to a real winery.

Visited this winery while at the Beer Bacon and Cheese Festival in 2016. The best thing about it was the air conditioning. We placed our belongings at a table to participate in the wine tasting and one of the workers removed our items and opened...More

We visited the winery this weekend on a day trip to New Glarus, and it was a lot of fun! For $5, you get to taste 14 types of wine--all the wines that they make. The staff is quite knowledgeable about the wines they sell....More
