The Third Ward is the Jewel of Milwaukee. Very nice restaurants and party bars. Bring your camera for some family photos.

Love this location for a morning of shopping and eating! It is a great place to wander and even see a few art galleries. And parking on the weekend is FREE!

There are many wonderful shops and restaurants in the area. Most are boutique-y and a little pricey but more and more shops are opening in a range of prices. Many good restaurants as well. We have visited the area many times over the last 8...More

We thought this was going to be a great place to shop, we were wrong, not worth our time there, the Market was the only nice place.

Hi there! With nearly 100 shops, galleries, and restaurants in the neighborhood, we're surprised and sorry to learn about your disappointing shopping experience. We do hope you'll give the Ward another try on your next trip.

Great eclectic neighborhood...shared a flight of beer with hubby at lunch, friendly and fun. Best cheese sandwich ever...duh, beer and cheese...it is Wisconsin

Rainy dreary start of the day...we started on the parking ramp across from Restoration Hardware outlet. It was a little steep at $10 for 3-1/2 hours! We went to West Elm (who were very friendly & welcoming), Broadway Paper & Inspired. We put our name...More

Nice area for walking. We saw mostly clothing stores and restaurants. The pubic market was full of people and fun to visit.

I would go to the art museum and eat there. Pretty lake views even if art isn't your thing. And there are a couple of places to eat there that have good quality food.

I was there over the Labor Day weekend and they had a huge Arts and Crafts show, and live music. Their were quite a few family's there but the weather was perfect, what time of year are you going?
