Cute little lighthouse. It is located near Lake Michigan, but not located right on the water. It is located within the park. Our tour guide had told us it use to be closer to the water, but had to be moved. Worth stopping to snap...More

A very well-maintained piece of Milwaukee history. The view was good, but the lake was a bit hard to see through the trees. The museum hours are limited, so it'd be worth planning ahead if you're interested in the history
The North Point Lighthouse is located in a lovely setting inside of Lake Park. There are walking trails that you can take in any direction from the lighthouse. Tour the lighthouse, walk the park and enjoy!
Great views, well maintain, beautiful surrounding areas, great pictures. We did not go inside, just wander around and sit for awhile.
Stopped here as we waited for our daughter to takes placements tests at UWM. The grounds are beautiful and restoration of the lighthouse and keepers are are wonderful.
A very stately lighthouse, white and well-maintained. But where is the water? Maybe if I Photoshop this edifice to the end of a rocky point it would be more impressive. Best images of it will be in the fall at sunrise.
Chose a good day to check out the park and the lighthouse. Wasn't able to go in but it looks really well maintained and a nice place to have a picnic.
The lighthouse was recently repainted and is a beautiful accent for a walk in the park that borders the lake. It has limited touring hours and we missed those, but the grounds are nice and the story of the lighthouse is interesting.
When I was an hour early for a meeting nearby, I visited this enchanting lighthouse and verdant grounds. It brought on an uplifting fantasy, for I've long held to the hope symbolism of lighthouses--what an energizing mood boost!More
Thank you for your lovely, inspring review! We're glad you were able to so enjoy this lighthouse, as our goal is to preserve it for our future generations. You may have noted that we have just completed the painting of our lighthouse tower and keeper's...More
If you enjoy lighthouses, this one is great. The docent who began our tour was quite informative. He was the only one working, so once an admission line formed, he had to stop our "tour." However, everything was else was self-explanatory. The history behind this...More
