While the buildings are not open to the public, feel free to take a breathtaking walk around the VA grounds. The VA is planning a 150th Anniversary this year (1867 - 2015) on the grounds 6-3-17.

This attraction is closed to the public as it is currently undergoing renovation! However, the exterior is accessible while the interior maintenance is being done! The building facade has so much detail I could spend several hours snapping shots at various angles and perspectives. The building sits on the Veteran Administration Grounds but is accessible, just follow the posted speed... More

I've worked at the VA medical center for 10 years now and my office is located very close to a few of the historical buildings. Every day you can see staff as well as the general public walking or biking along the many paths and trails that go through the VA grounds. I would recommend going through here at any... More

If you are in this area and interested in architecture, you can drive through this area and look at buildings. Some are surrounded by fencing and in need of restoration. All buildings are owned by the government.
