Good for warm weather

Fortunately, this January we had record-breaking high temperatures and the river walk was doable on our vacation.

Taking a walk after a dinner date is a nice way to hang out if you just want to be able to talk or be alone. The view of the river is a nice back drop and because of the number of restaurants near by you can just finish dinner and walk right out along the river!

Nice way to see Milwaukee if you don't have transport options. Start it off at the Public Market to tick another attraction off the list and get the energy levels up.

Spent a few days with my SO in Milwaukee after Christmas. We were staying at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn and had tickets to the Admirals game at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. Even though it was a fairly cold and very windy evening, we decided to walk to the game as it wasn't terribly far. It was great taking the River... More

The Milwaukee RiverWalk is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. It winds some two miles along the Milwaukee River, where you can access great restaurants, pubs, nightlife and shopping.

Our goal was to get down to the Riverwalk while we were in town. It was a windy, brisk day but that didn't stop us. Lots of different things to look at, in a nice, clean area. We even found the Bronze Fonz. A good activity for everyone, better on a warmer day.

Spent a little time on Milwaukee's Riverwalk this past NYE weekend. Good thing for us it was in the mid 30's and partly sun. Next week is a different story - 18 for the high! Even so if you are in the downtown area take a stroll down the Riverwalk. Basically a nice walking path/elevated sidewalk alongside the Milwaukee river.... More

This is an enjoyable way to see the condominiums that have grown up around the river. Pleasant thing to do on a nice day.

Most people have heard of the RiverWalk in San Antonio, but Milwaukee has a great one as well. Built in the 1990s to revitalize the downtown area, the RiverWalk links countless bars, restaurants, breweries and activities located along the Milwaukee River. If you are going to explore downtown, this is a great place to start. Park the car, find the... More

My family and I enjoyed the beauty of the riverwalk and looking at all the art along the walk. Our favorite is the Bronze Fonz.
