Small fee to enjoy the facility. Easy access and onsite parking available. Would probably be an issue during the summer months when more tourists are around. There is a small gift shop with reasonable prices and loved the tour. The furniture was mainly original to the home and many of the pictures and artifacts as the family appears to keep... More

This mansion has been restored to near pristine condition, with immaculate attention to detail. The tour was interesting, engaging, and an appropriate length. We took the extended tour, all the way to the attic and down to the basement and behind the scenes. It was a delight to see the inner workings of the building, including the small passageways and... Magnificent restoration let's you see the Pabst Mansion as it was originally built and furnished. So elegant! Our guide Dave was incredible and helped us step back in time to experience not only the Mansion but the Pabst family as well. We saw all the top things to do in Milwaukee on our 3 night stay and this was our... More

We visited the Pabst mansion about 30 years ago when it was first acquired. At that time you could only see just the main floor. The upper floors were not yet renovated and offices occupied some of the rooms. Now the extensive tour goes through the first, second and third floor and shows the restored as well as not quite... It's nice to know that the people who brewed beer have lots of disposable income. This home tour just really makes me wonder who I never opened a brewery. You really need to see this place to appreciate how muck technology has advanced in the past 100 years, because at one time this place was the top of the heap... More

A road trip brought us to Milwaukee. Pabst Mansion was a must see for us and we were not disappointed. The guided tour was interesting as we toured this lovely mansion. It was an enjoyable way to spend the morning.

The elegant home of Captain and Mrs. Pabst has been restored to its former glory - the entire first floor, and much of the second and third floors. Our tour guide Barb was excellent - very knowledgeable about the furnishings and decor, but also made the family history come alive.

Wisconsin Avenue was to Milwaukee what South Prairie Street was to Chicago. During the late 1880s, the Gilded Age by European and Newport standards, both were lined by mansions belonging to beer barons (in Milwaukee) and meat packers (in Chicago) and other wealthy business tycoons who owned department stores and hotels. The Pabst Mansion, located at 2000 West Wisconsin Avenue... More

Learn alot from this historical place. Will not be boring. Learn how this family lived. Imagine how it was during the later half of the 19th Century.
