A Beautiful Place

One mansion, but different designs in each corner. No photos allowed inside, I believe, but you can remember that feeling of having been in a classy and beautiful place.

A wonderful way to spend a rainy day in Milwaukee. During the tour you will learn about the brewing families/businesses from "back in the day". The staff at the mansion are very informed and eager to share stories with inquisitive visitors. Combine this visit with the Miller brewery tour for a very informative day.

Beautiful house, being on the 1st floor really throws you back in time. They are still restoring the home back to its original look after the Archdiocese change the look of it during their 67 years stay. The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, had some good stories and details. I only went on the normally tour, as I... More

My family and I loved our visit to the Pabst Mansion, so wonderful to see such great history on display. You truly feel like you have gone back in time when walking around this magnificent house. It should also be noted that the volunteers who are working inside the mansion are full of knowledge, take advantage of their information by... More

The Pabst mansion is grandiose from the outside, but the furnished interior is truly beautiful to view. The craftsmanship is old world and the home is bigger on the inside than it looks. A great tour for the money.

Thank you very much for your nice comments. This house is 20,000 sq feet, 8,000 just for Captain and Mrs Pabst and 12,000 for servants and work area! It is pretty amazing! More

In town for a conference, we went here based on suggestions. What an amazing place with such history. So glad it was saved from being a parking lot!

I have visited this twice and found it a bit sleepy both times. It is a lovely home and a great keepsake for Milwaukee but I wish they would spice up the tour with a few more great "stories for the past". It's not to exciting. The gift shop could use some excitement as well. The building is very well... More

This Flemish Renaissance Revival style mansion, built in mere 2 years in the late19th c, for Captain Frederick Pabst, founder of Pabst Brewing Co. and his family has been beautifully maintained and restored. The family lived there from 1892-1908. It was then sold to the Archdioceses of Milwaukee who continued to own it for the next 67 years. It was... More
