World class art collection... Stunning building... very easy to view art. Excellent guards, yummy cafeteria, one of the best gift shops and of course the view from outside and inside is unparalleled. As good as any NYC museum !! A MUST !!

The Milwaukee Art Museum is a beautiful building. We concentrated on the modern art exhibits which were wide-ranging, from art to sculpture to furniture. The building itself is a work of art. The Calatrava Cafe downstairs serves delicious food if you are hungry after touring...More

The architecture is stunning (visit at noon to see the "sails" move). What most impressed us was the large collection of Germain art that we had not seen in other American museums. There was also a great selection of American folk art.

An amazingly beautiful museum on the water. The architecture of the building speaks for itself. It is a bit pricey at $17 for entry, but well worth it if you have the time to see it all. Allow yourself 2-3 hours. Enjoy.

At the time of my visit there were very few exhibits on display in main corridor area. Halls are extremely spacious, building is spectacular.

This Calatrava designed museum is the real attraction. Sitting on the shores of Lake Michigan, the museum has a very futuristic feel - and the rotating shows are always interesting.

If you are there when the museum opens (10 am), or at noon, or at closing (5 pm) you will see the "wings" open and close, accompanied by music. This museum will delight lovers of great architecture.
