Get this straight: The city is Lake Geneva, the lake is Geneva Lake. Hop aboard a classic yacht for a cruise around the second deepest lake in Wisconsin (135 feet deep and 21 miles around) which is the focal point of a popular resort area also known as "the Newport of the West."

Lake Geneva is surrounded by a multitude of quaint little towns that are reminiscent of the wonderful little New England fishing villages found on the east coast. With boating, swimming, fishing, and water sports the lake is definitely the center of attention in this area.

The lake is wonderful for wave runners and boats and jet skis and tubing and wake boarding and skiing and sun tanning. Also good for fishing. The beaches are nice and the lifeguards actually do their jobs. The water is clean.

Well ... not much has changed. Or at least appears that way. We walked on the frozen lake (I stood where I would scuba dive 35 years ago) near the beach entrance. Many people doing the same and many further out were ice fishing on...More

I never thought I would enjoy a lake destination during the winter, but the Lake Geneva area proved me wrong! The lakes were frozen, Winterfest was in full force, and hot cocoa was available everywhere. It was a winter wonderland!

I'm sure you can. There are like 2 or 3 kayak rental companies right by the lake.
