Get this straight: The city is Lake Geneva, the lake is Geneva Lake. Hop aboard a classic yacht for a cruise around the second deepest lake in Wisconsin (135 feet deep and 21 miles around) which is the focal point of a popular resort area also known as "the Newport of the West."

Took a boat tour along the lake. The lake is very nice. Larger than I thought it would be also saw several beautiful homes

After visiting the beach, swimming in the lake, and walking around the docks, we wandered around looking at the stores and eating wonderful homemade ice cream. We would definitely go again. Next time we might do the boat tour to ogle the huge homes.

It was fun to play in the lake. My fiancé was freaked out by the seaweed that floats around. It was a little disturbing feeling it rub against my leg when I was in deeper waters - clearly an adjustment for city folk. I wish...More

Geneva on the lake is one place I have been going for the last 45+ years! Great place to walk around on a sunny afternoon. Stop at Eddies Grill for one of the best foot long hot dogs ever! Drop over to Madsen donuts for...More

Whether for a day trip or a vacation, this is a great old fashion lake town where you can relax and escape the city. A lot of restaurants, from fast food to $$$$; but it can get very crowded, particularly on the weekends. Take a...More

The beach area is very clean and the sand is quite powdery for a lake. This is a great place to bring your family. There are many restaurants to choose from and plenty of attractions to keep you busy.

The guides/crew narrated some interesting history. The boat was nicely maintained 2 level vessel, even the bathrooms were in good shape. There were multiple areas to sit on the boat, in sun, shade or protected from the elements. Chairs are plastic lawn chairs which was...More

Very lovely place! You can walk along the coast with wind breeze and warm sunshine. It is good experience to travel the boat across the lake as well!

I agree with all of the above. I haven't seen a private event at the beach, but I have seen weddings in Library Park.
