Weekend with girlfriends...stopped in Fat Cats had some drinks, listened to good music and friendly staff!

So there was a Packer game schedule on the day we were in Lake Geneva, so we bar hopped and all the places were great except Fat Cats. I am not sure when the last time the place was cleaned, especially the bathrooms! One drink and we were out of there.

This is a dive, but it's comfortable and the service was good. My friend is very particular about wine, but they came up with something she really liked.

Not much to complain about here...Fat Cats feels like Lake Geneva’s local dive bar. The prices were reasonable, service was friendly and the atmosphere was pretty standard. We enjoyed our drinks.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Bartender was wasted and lost my debit card. Not to mention rude. Refused to address the issue and still have not been contacted about any kind of resolution. Horrible experience overall.

We stopped here after my in-laws had a decent experience the last time they were in Lake Geneva. We stopped in and my husband was given a warm beer with an even warmer glass to pour it in. He and my FIL went to play pool, which totally sucked as well. The table was not level and there we’re obstructions so it was difficult to play. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom and how disgusting it was. I’m not picky, I love a good dive place, but this was a whole new level. And then...
While the boys were playing, my MIL chatted for a moment with the bartender as no one was in the place. When we asked what brought him to Lake Geneva, he starts in with “Well you’re not going to like what I have to say,” then continues on a VERY racist explanation. Not a subtle thing, not him possibly not being PC, this was full on racisism. And it was about where we live on top of it! I could not get out of that bar fast enough.
I will not return because of the poor atmosphere and terrible drinks, but even more so I will not support a business that thinks this is okay behaviour.

What a great time! This was our first trip to Lake Geneva & I'm so glad that we stopped in at Fat Cats! We like little "dive" bars because they seem to be much more friendly & fun. Fat Cats did not disappoint! Everyone was great & we met alot of great people! Stop in if you're in the area, I know we will!

There is nothing to do in Lake Geneva when it rains, so we stopped in at Fat Cats for a cocktail! It was a rainy week day evening and there were only a few other people in the bar. Our bartender, Nick, was super friendly and fun to talk to! Yes, it is a dive bar, but a fun one with a great bartender at that! We enjoyed our visit!

This place is a good old fashioned dive! Just had a quick beer, since time was short. There is a pool table, jukebox, and very inexpensive drinks. I could see this place hopping in the summer. Bartender was very nice, and they have live music on the weekends.

If you are looking for reasonably priced drinks and local Wisconsin flavor, try this place! Lots of colorful characters. Lots of TVs to watch games. No food but friendly bar service. Lots of fun.
