We frequently take our friends here when they visit. It's a gorgeous look-out over La Crosse. Best time is during Fall to see all the colors but really you can't go wrong any time else!

A trip up to Grandad's Bluff while visiting LaCrosse is a must! You can see gorgeous panoramic views of the campus, city and Mississippi River! Well worth the short drive out of town and up the hill.

Take the time to visit the Grandad Bluff, it was a short distance from downtown La Crosse and had spectacular views. Thank you those who are doing a fantastic job keeping this area available for the public.

The view from La Crosse is stunning. One of the best views around. See all the way to the Minnesota side.

You'll drive to the top and there's a concrete sidewalk that leads to both the shelter and the overlook. In fact, it's handicapped accessible

It is accessible by car. There is a parking lot and a short, easy walk to the overlook. There are also trails from there for those who want to explore further.
