This is a great place to visit to learn about the areas history. Sections are divided by periods. Lots of local items to view and read about. Plenty of parking. No charge to view, but donations are accepted. One floor with restrooms available.

I love the streets of yesteryear theme, and this cute little museum had fun exhibits and is very well kept. We enjoyed the toys exhibit, reflecting on how old we are having played with them in the 70s. It seems they change things out, so...More

This museum is small (donation suggested) with two main rooms of exhibits, but there's a lot to see ... old typewriter, machinery, cars, and reconstructed exhibits (dentist office, apothecary, pharmacy, general store, etc.). Really have a nice glimpse of the history of the area in a manor that would appeal to all age groups. More in there than we thought.

We visited the History Center when we were in town for the Nash/AMC Kenosha Homecoming 2017. My understanding is that the History Center was a primary organizer of the event. It is a small place, but really neat and very interesting. I LOVED the case...More

The museum is a little small but very interesting. Fun for all ages ! The ladies at the front desk are amazing ! Very patient, kind and knowledgeable. Gift shop has good prices.
