This is an average museum for adults but there are things to keep the children interested. The prehistoric info is good but the rest seemed lacking and the art could be better.More

Went specifically for the mammoth. The exhibit about the indigenous people and artifacts are great. There's also a stunning set of geodes/crystals that you should see behind the gift shop by elevators. Had no idea, but a local kid showed them to me.More

This museum takes donations (recommended $5). There are some nice displays and an interactive kids area. Upstairs was an art exhibition for watercolor which was very lovely. Takes maybe an hour to go through.More

This museum is fairly small, but it is free and the main exhibit is very well done. It was great to stop in and learn after spending time at the Harbor Market on a Saturday morning.More

They have a big dinosaur and lots of exhibits for kids and also art. They change it up periodically. I belong to a quilters guild and we have a show. There are different shows and activity's so check the web before going.
