The museum really personalizes the events of the civil war. It begins with the lead up to war. There are war reenactments. There are also many animatronic figures which creepy at first but really makes things realistic.

Amazing museum! So many war scene creations (battlefields, stores, people who tell you their story when you pass them) - complete with music - you almost feel like you are there. Also has the requisite armaments, flags, maps, medical instruments, etc...

The Fiery Trial exhibit has an admission price of $9 per adult, $5 for residents of Kenosha. Children 15 and under are free, but must be accompanied by an adult.
